  • Jennifer Aniston Makes Rare Comment About Ex-Husband Brad Pitt’s Cameo on ‘Friends’

Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow took a trip down memory lane while recalling making their beloved sitcom Friends, reflecting on when major A-listers would make iconic cameos — including Aniston’s ex-husband Brad Pitt.

“Those were great, the Thanksgiving episodes. When Brad was on, that was hilarious,” Kudrow, 62, said during Variety’s Actors on Actors, which dropped on Wednesday, June 3.

Aniston, 57, replied, “I know. How funny. The movie stars that came on Friends. Brad, Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. We had so many — Sean Penn. They were always nervous. Remember? I always found it fascinating how nervous they were.”

Kudrow agreed that the famous figures came into the show with a “nervous” mindset.

“Well, because what’s the tone? It’s not theater; it’s for TV. It’s not a movie. What the hell is this? And it’s a good question. And I remember someone asked one time. I didn’t know how to explain it, so I said, ‘Oh, just talk louder. Same intention, just —,’” she said, while Aniston agreed, “Just louder!”

Pitt made a guest appearance on the sitcom during a 2001 Thanksgiving episode where he portrayed Ross Geller’s (David Schwimmer) old friend. The pair were part of the “I Hate Rachel” club in high school, which the group of friends — including Rachel (Aniston), Phoebe (Kudrow), Monica (Courteney Cox), Joey (Matt LeBlanc) and Chandler (Matthew Perry) — learned while eating dinner together.

At the time of filming, Pitt and Aniston were married. The twosome, who tied the knot in 2000, announced their separation in 2005. Pitt went on to tie the knot with Angelina Jolie in 2014, and the pair share six children. (Jolie, 50, filed for divorce two years later, which was finalized in 2024.)

Aniston, meanwhile, has been candid about her fertility struggles after speculation sparked that her marriage to Pitt ended over a clash about kids.

“I just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn’t have a child,” she told Allure in November 2022. “And the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn’t give him a kid. It was absolute lies. I don’t have anything to hide at this point.”

Aniston later moved on with Justin Theroux and the pair were married from 2015 to 2018. She has since begun dating Jim Curtis, with whom she sparked romance rumors in 2025. After the couple was spotted on a yacht in Mallorca, a source confirmed to Us Weekly that the pair were set up by mutual friends.

“They are being super private but have been spending a lot of time together,” the insider shared. “They are happy and really into each other.”

Pitt, for his part, has been in a relationship with Ines de Ramon since 2022.

  • Doja Cat To Elon MuskYou’re A ‘Bitch’ Who Looks Like A ‘Frog’ And ‘Ewok’!!!

    Doja Cat

Safe to say Doja Cat is no fan of Elon Musk, who she called a “frog,” a “bitch” and some other ugly stuff in a social media post on Wednesday.

The singer went totally ballistic on Musk on his very own X platform, first demanding that the tech mogul bring back the “audio post” feature. Last year, Musk removed the feature, preventing X users from posting stand-alone Voice Notes.

Then Doja got personal, calling Elon a “frog build looking bitch” and a “Barrel chested ewok u look like u eat sand.”

Of course, Doja was referring to the small, furry characters from the “Star Wars” trilogy.

Ouch! Doja may want to be a little nicer next time she asks Elon for something. Maybe he would listen.

We reached out to Elon’s reps for comment … so far no word back.

  • Bondi hero Ahmed Al Ahmed charged with allegedly assaulting father

Bondi hero Ahmed Al Ahmed will face court after allegedly assaulting his father, police have confirmed.

Bondi hero Ahmed Al Ahmed has been charged with assault after allegedly attacking his father.

In a statement, NSW Police said officers received a report of an alleged assault at a home in Bankstown on March 9.

“Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command commenced an investigation,” police said.

Ahmed Al Ahmed has been charged with common assault, with police alleging he attacked his father at a home in Bankstown on March 9.

“On Wednesday (June 3), a 44-year-old man was served with a Court Attendance Notice for common assault (DV) and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic).

7News reports the assault charge relates to allegations he put his father in a headlock.

An apprehended violence order (AVO) has been taken out on his behalf and he is asked to stay 100m away from his father’s place of residence and work.

Ahmed will face Bankstown Local Court on July 29.

The charges against Mr Al Ahmed come days after his two younger brothers faced court.

Earlier in May, his brothers Hozifah and Sameh Al Ahmed faced court after being charged with allegedly using a carriage service to menace/harass/offend their older sibling.

NSW Police alleged the two younger brothers called Mr Al Ahmed and demanded $100,000 each from him.

The brothers have pleaded not guilty to all charges laid against them.

They were granted bail and are due to face court on June 8.

Mr Al Ahmed was dubbed the “Bondi hero” after wrestling a weapon from gunman Sajid Akram during the December shooting which left 15 dead.

In a video that went viral, he was seen grabbing the gun out of the attacker’s hands.

Mr Al Ahmed was later shot multiple times and hospitalised in a critical condition.

Sajid Akram was later shot dead by police while his son Naveed was injured and taken into custody.

He is now facing dozens of charges – including 15 counts of murder and 40 counts of attempted murder.

Mr Al Ahmed had five bullet wounds in his shoulder and spent two weeks recovering and undergoing several operations at hospital.

A fundraiser launched immediately after the attack, raised $2.6m for his support and recovery which he received when he was still in the hospital.

Mr Al Ahmed owned a tobacco store in Sutherland that remained closed for sometime after the Bondi attack, before he sold the business in March.

After weeks-long stay in hospital, Mr Al-Ahmed was given an extraordinary reception at multiple events including at the Ashes Test and a charity gala dinner in New York, and even receiving the keys to the Canterbury-Bankstown council.

He received the first ever keys to the city and was named Canterbury bankstown Local Hero for 2026.

“Mr Al Ahmed’s decision to put himself in harm’s way saved lives on one of the darkest days in our nation’s history and his belief in humanity against hate inspires us all,” the council’s mayor Bilal El-Hayek had said.

  • White Castle Just Added This Slider To Its Forever Menu (And We’re So Grateful)

White Castle may well be the quintessential American fast food restaurant (it’s also the first fast food restaurant), and it’s been around for over 100 years, but that doesn’t mean it can’t keep up with the times. Its basic burger may not have changed much since 1921 (except for the price), but the menu continues to expand. The latest addition to the permanent menu is something that targets a new audience, as spice-loving vegetarians will want to check out the new Southwest Veggie Slider.

The slider’s protein comes from a company called Dr Praeger’s. The chipotle-flavored patty is made from bell peppers, black beans, carrots, corn, onions, and sweet potatoes rolled in a crust of brown rice. The burger comes on the same bun as the regular sliders and is covered in a slice of jalapeño cheese (American and cheddar cheese are also available upon request, or you could ask that the cheese be omitted if you’d prefer a dairy-free version). Some locations don’t yet appear to have the veggie slider on the menu, but the nationwide rollout was announced just this week so it should be coming soon. Where the new item is available, it’s been reported to sell for $2.49, but prices may vary by location. During the month of July, Craver Nation Rewards members will be able to purchase a combo meal consisting of two Southwest Veggie Sliders, a small order of fries, and a small drink for $5.

White Castle is one of a limited number of national chains offering plant-based burgers

The Southwest Veggie Slider isn’t the first non-meat patty White Castle has offered. Some White Castles were selling veggie sliders as early as 2015 (at which time they cost a mere 99 cents). In 2018 it started carrying Impossible burger patties alongside Dr. Praeger’s black bean patties, then in 2020 it added dairy-free cheese. The new Southwest Veggie Slider is just the latest addition to the vegetarian-friendly lineup.

White Castle isn’t the only fast food chain currently offering a non-meat burger, but it is one of a select few. Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers has a black bean-based veggie burger on the menu despite its dairy and meat-centric name, while Shake Shack offers both a mushroom burger and a veggie patty made from carrots, farro, mushrooms, quinoa, and sweet potatoes. Burger King also still sells the same Impossible Whopper it introduced in 2019. It’s alone among the “Big Three,” though, since neither the nation’s second-largest burger chain (Wendy’s) nor the largest (McDonald’s) offers any type of non-meat burger at present.

  • Can Starbucks Outrun Rising QSR Competition?

In August 2024, Starbucks announced that it had poached Chipotle CEO Brian Niccol to take the same role at the coffee giant. Investors saw the news as potentially seismic. Starbucks stock jumped 24.5% (yes, 24.5%), adding over $20 billion in market capitalization in a single day.

Chipotle shares, meanwhile, promptly fell 7.5%, with its market value falling nearly $6 billion on the news. Obviously, investors had a huge amount of respect for Niccol’s abilities as a CEO.

But the big jump in Starbucks stock wasn’t just driven by optimism toward what Niccol could do for the business. It was driven, at least in part, by the need for anyone to do something.

Starbucks clearly seemed to have lost its way, and investors had zero confidence in Niccol’s predecessor, Laxman Narasimhan, to make the necessary changes. And though it’s taken some time, investors are starting to see why the CEO change was so important.

In 2026, Starbucks is rolling out targeted refreshes for its coffeehouses and even installing new furniture. But the culture is changing.

Starbucks Rebuilds Service, But Challenges Remain

Niccol didn’t make an immediate impact with Starbucks. In fiscal 2025 (ending September, so essentially Niccol’s first full year), same-store sales globally and in the U.S. were negative. At home, Starbucks saw a 4% decline in traffic, following a 5% fall the year before. But the trend has changed in the first two quarters of this fiscal year.

Second quarter earnings were a blowout: Starbucks crushed analyst expectations, and posted an impressive 6.2% increase in global same-store revenues. In the U.S., the news was even better: traffic jumped 4.4%, with higher tickets driving same-store growth of over 7%.

To hear Niccol tell it, it’s largely basic execution that has driven the rebound. Both after last week’s report and during an Investor Day in late January, the CEO and his fellow executives have talked up essentially a return to the fundamentals.

At the Investor Day, Niccol said that the company had lost its way in service. In response, Starbucks has invested in pay and improved operational planning.

Starbucks also has returned its focus on the in-store experience — something past management unsurprisingly neglected in the post-pandemic era, when health fears and the ‘work from home’ trend shifted traffic to the drive-thru instead of the counter.

That shift threatened Starbucks’ long-time reputation as a “third place” between home and work. Starbucks is rolling out targeted refreshes for its coffeehouses, and even installing new furniture.

Here, too, the culture is changing. Niccol obliquely noted at the event that the company had also instituted a code of conduct for its customers. Early last year, Starbucks reversed an “open door” policy that had been instituted in 2018; customers now must make a purchase to use the restrooms or spend significant time in coffeehouses. The previous policy led to complaints that Starbucks locations too often were occupied by people who presented a potential threat (or at least were seen as presenting a potential threat) both to customers and employees.

    Niccol Restores Some Momentum

It seems like – both in the U.S. and abroad – the changes are working. Results in the last two quarters have been solid, and Starbucks recently increased its outlook for the full fiscal year. Same-store sales both globally and domestically are now expected to jump 5%. Profit margins should improve, if slightly.

There’s a sense that Starbucks is going back on offense.

After some Starbucks locations were closed in recent years, net openings in fiscal 2026 are guided to 600-650; another 1,400-plus are expected to arrive in the following two years.

On the whole, then, Starbucks is starting to look like the powerhouse it was before the pandemic. But there are some reasons for concern, as well.

The seemingly strong numbers this year are of course helped by how poor the chain has performed of late. Over three years, global same-store sales should rise about 1% per year on average – below the rate of inflation. U.S. performance in fact looks slightly worse than that.

Operating profit margins are the real concern. In fiscal 2019, operating margins were over 7%. This year, they will be about 10%. Soaring coffee prices (which crushed profits last year; margins fell a full five percentage points) obviously are a factor. But operating profit this year should be down something like 12% from the figure seven years earlier.

Unsurprisingly, declining profits have led to a relatively flat stock price. Even with dividends, Starbucks stock has returned just 28% so far this decade. The Standard & Poor’s 500 is up 139% over the same period.

And so the concern here is that while, operationally and culturally, Niccol may be leading the company, as he himself has put it, “back to Starbucks”, the external environment has changed for good. Competition is far more intense, whether in the U.S. from chains like Dutch Bros or in China from Luckin Coffee and others. Younger drinkers are shifting away from coffee; Starbucks is following those customers, but non-coffee and/or iced drinks erode the company’s long-built edge and reputation in its core category.

Niccol clearly has worked to make Starbucks a better company than it was two years ago. The big fear is whether he can ever make it better than it was a decade ago.

  • Kendall Jenner, Jacob Elordi Step Out in Coordinating Looks During Japan Trip

Less than a month after Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner sparked romance rumors, the model and Euphoria star sported coordinating looks during an outing in Japan.

Jacob Elordi and Kendall Jenner are taking their romance worldwide.

Less than a month after fueling romance rumors during a joint outing with Kendall’s sister Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, the Euphoria actor and the model proved their bond is only getting stronger during a day out in Tokyo.

Case in point: the duo stepped out in coordinating outfits for their June 1 outing alongside friends. Kendall, for her part, sported a black T-shirt with matching pants as well as a navy baseball cap and a cream sweater tied around her waist.

Jacob, meanwhile, opted for the same color T-shirt as Kendall, along with a matching baseball hat and blue jeans. The Kissing Booth alum topped off his look with a pair of slim yellow sneakers.

In addition to walking the streets of Tokyo, the pair also enjoyed some ramen together at a restaurant, as seen in photos shared by fans on social media.

The pair’s outing comes months after initially sparking romance rumors when they were photographed chatting at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March. Since then, their rumored relationship has continued to heat up, with the pair stepping out together at Coachella last month, as well as spending a day together on the beach in Hawaii earlier this month.

And while Kendall and Jacob have not addressed their romance directly, Kendall’s sister Khloe Kardashian, confirmed the model—who has previously been linked to Bad Bunny and Devin Booker—is seeing someone in an offhanded comment about a recent family outing.

“When we saw the Michael movie, it was everyone and their boyfriends,” Khloe reflected in a May 20 episode of Khloe in Wonder Land, “Or Kourt with her husband—and then me. And it’s like me and my mom.”

  • Jamie Foxx’s Pregnant Girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp Debuts Baby Bump During LA Outing

Jamie Foxx’s girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp was spotted out for the first time since E! News confirmed that she’s pregnant with their first baby earlier this month.

Jamie Foxx‘s dream girl is stepping into a new era.

The Oscar winner’s girlfriend Alyce Hockstepp debuted her baby bump while heading to lunch in Los Angeles May 28. For the occasion, which marked the former fitness instructor’s first public outing since E! News confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month, the 31-year-old donned black leggings and a matching long-sleeved top.

The mom to be wore her wavy hair down and finished off her look with glasses and a polka-dotted cross-body bag.

Alyse and Jamie’s exciting milestone comes over a year after they reunited in April 2025 following a breakup that January. Before their brief time apart, Jamie—who shares daughters Corinne, 32, with ex Connie Klein and Anelise, 17, with ex Kristin Grannis—and Alyce initially confirmed their romance back in August 2023.

And, especially after suffering a brain bleed that led to a life-threatening stroke in 2023, Jamie has uncovered newfound appreciation for how much fatherhood means to him.

“You know how you take a picture on your cell phone and you hit that first filter and it brightens up?” Jamie explained to E! News at the Golden Globes last year. “That’s how life looks now. Everything is altered.”
