Jennifer Aniston<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Lisa Kudrow<\/strong>\u00a0took a trip down memory lane while recalling making their beloved sitcom\u00a0Friends<\/em>, reflecting on when major A-listers would make iconic cameos \u2014 including Aniston\u2019s ex-husband\u00a0Brad Pitt.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThose were great, the Thanksgiving episodes. When Brad was on, that was hilarious,\u201d Kudrow, 62, said during\u00a0Variety\u2019<\/em>s Actors on Actors, which dropped on Wednesday, June 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aniston, 57, replied, \u201cI know. How funny. The movie stars that came on Friends. Brad,\u00a0Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini<\/strong>. We had so many \u2014\u00a0Sean Penn<\/strong>. They were always nervous. Remember? I always found it fascinating how nervous they were.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kudrow agreed that the famous figures came into the show with a \u201cnervous\u201d mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWell, because what\u2019s the tone? It\u2019s not theater; it\u2019s for TV. It\u2019s not a movie. What the hell is this? And it\u2019s a good question. And I remember someone asked one time. I didn\u2019t know how to explain it, so I said, \u2018Oh, just talk louder. Same intention, just \u2014,\u2019\u201d she said, while Aniston agreed, \u201cJust louder!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pitt made a guest appearance on the sitcom during a 2001 Thanksgiving episode where he portrayed Ross Geller\u2019s (David Schwimmer<\/strong>) old friend. The pair were part of the \u201cI Hate Rachel\u201d club in high school, which the group of friends \u2014 including Rachel (Aniston), Phoebe (Kudrow), Monica (Courteney Cox<\/strong>), Joey (Matt LeBlanc<\/strong>) and Chandler (Matthew Perry<\/strong>) \u2014 learned while eating dinner together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the time of filming, Pitt and Aniston were married. The twosome, who tied the knot in 2000, announced their separation in 2005. Pitt went on to tie the knot with\u00a0Angelina Jolie<\/strong>\u00a0in 2014, and the pair share six children. (Jolie, 50, filed for divorce two years later,\u00a0which was finalized in 2024.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aniston, meanwhile, has been candid about her fertility struggles after speculation sparked that her marriage to Pitt ended over a clash about kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI just cared about my career. And God forbid a woman is successful and doesn\u2019t have a child,\u201d she told\u00a0Allure<\/em>\u00a0in November 2022. \u201cAnd the reason my husband left me, why we broke up and ended our marriage, was because I wouldn\u2019t give him a kid. It was absolute lies. I don\u2019t have anything to hide at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aniston later moved on with\u00a0Justin Theroux<\/strong>\u00a0and the pair were married from 2015 to 2018. She has\u00a0since begun dating\u00a0Jim Curtis<\/strong>, with whom she sparked romance rumors in 2025. After the couple was spotted on a yacht in Mallorca, a source confirmed to\u00a0Us Weekly<\/em>\u00a0that the pair were set up by mutual friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey are being super private but have been spending a lot of time together,\u201d the insider shared. \u201cThey are happy and really into each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pitt, for his part, has been in a relationship with Ines de Ramon<\/strong> since 2022.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
