I really had to grieve that&#8230;that it won&#8217;t be&nbsp;<em>mine<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bareilles then says she&#8217;s been doing a lot of &#8220;meditating around the size of love.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The idea that love is just big enough to hold a lot of shapes and sizes and ways things come. The idea that I could only love a child if it shows up in this one way,&#8221; she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bareilles\u00a0announced on Instagram\u00a0in October 2025 that she and Tippett, 44,\u00a0had tied the knot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We did a big thing,&#8221; she captioned the post, which featured a series of photos from the wedding. &#8220;I will just say I love this man and I love the community who came to hold us up.
