{"id":418911,"date":"2026-07-02T06:42:51","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T06:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/6gnx6dd.cc\/?p=418911"},"modified":"2026-07-02T06:42:51","modified_gmt":"2026-07-02T06:42:51","slug":"nrl-warriors-rookie-luke-hanson-to-leave-club-at-end-of-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/6gnx6dd.cc\/index.php\/2026\/07\/02\/nrl-warriors-rookie-luke-hanson-to-leave-club-at-end-of-season\/","title":{"rendered":"NRL: Warriors rookie Luke Hanson to leave club at end of season"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warriors rookie Luke Hanson will leave the club at the end of the season to continue his career in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Warriors general manager of recruitment, pathways and development Andrew McFadden said Hanson had been offered an opportunity back in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 22-year-old joined the Warriors in 2024, playing in the Jersey Flegg Cup and New South Wales Cup pathways teams before making his first-grade debut in their\u00a038-12 victory over the Newcastle Knights\u00a0in March, where he scored the final try of the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We wish him all the best for the future. We really appreciate his efforts and contribution to the club,&#8221; McFadden said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2024 Hanson played six times for the Warriors&#8217; under-21 Jersey Flegg Cup side as well as making 18 appearances in the New South Wales Cup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A member of the successful NSW Cup side last year, he has so far made 45 appearances in the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warriors rookie Luke Hanson will leave the club at the end of the season to continue his career in Australia.
